It seems I changed the zoom on Anthonys camera and therfore the shots look like there a million miles away.

You did just fine with the camera Syd - just someone has a needlessly complicated camera. Your aiming and firing was just fine, it was just they looked like they were at the wrong end of a telescope thats all. My bad.

Timekeeping is easy. If the stopwatch explodes or gets run over by a bus, just time everybody using your wristwatch and don't tell, you will be right to ±10 seconds and if you keep a straight face nobody will know. The trick is not to panic.
OK I'll be there Andy you'll just have to run me through it.

...if this weather keeps up it should be a good evening - providing no one minds me using a sail around half the course :)
