Andy Malcolm and Anthony Hogbin ventured right and up a bit on the map to take part in the Leigh Premier RC 10 mile TT (on a blessedly flat course). Liverpool strangely quiet for a Saturday - apparently there was some kind of football thing going on (o;

The rain of the night before had been heavy, and the weather forcasts were in general agreement that it was due to be poor all day in the region.

Despite making the roof mounted journey to the HQ - the rain stayed off the bikes and the riders for the duration.

Andy and Anthony put in respective times of 24 mins 14 seconds and 25 mins 5 seconds. I would have liked to tell you the winning time, but with the memory of a goldfish, and a lack of battery in my camera I didnt capture that... so hope you will settle for Chris Lords' Dad achieving a respectable 29 min 39 seconds.

Andy equipped with skin suit and not afraid to use it is sporting the South Lancs colours, while yours truely conceals his lack of early season training under the mighty colours of the Melyd.

[update] 22nd May - Now find attached the results in full should you feel driven and motivated to read them. We are easy to find with the yellow band, and "Hello" to Chris Lord's father in a respectable 50th.
