Sundays race
Well I thought I'd post something seeing as syd,s been quiet today..
Sundays road race was held in excellent weather with a superb showing by the melyd massive (except me!) Andys 7th and Alans 13th were excellent results but perhaps overshadowed by Dans effort. After choosing to ride with a vastly more experienced group than Alan & Andy including world class riders just to make life harder, he did fantastically well despite being forced to appear on the front on several occasions!
I on the other hand ignored all the pre race advice, the red mist decended and I made a right muppett of myself chasing down a break and generally clowning around at the front for the first lap before getting shelled out going up the wall! hopefully will be wiser for the next one..hope to see you all there cheers Justin

My hang back early and save it for later in the race, were not cleverly applied tactics, they were mapped out tactics for me, as I got boxed in within the first 500 metres and the buggers never let me out for 2 1/2 laps. Otherwise I'd have been chasing everyone down like a nutter without a clue. And probably joined you out the back like a scolded cat.
