was speaking to a guy who says his son is interested in riding, he's a keen swimmer and is wanting to give triathalons a go. So sounds like he likes pain!!!
Does anyone have a spare bike to lend/sell.
Ben is 6' ish so that excludes us slightly vertically challenged among us.
Have spoken to Al' who says he will see what can be done to get Ben on the road. Anyone else who can help give me a mail or reply to this post.

Bob, I can lend him my winter bike till October/November its a 56cm but longish stem i,m 5 10 5 11. will take the guards off, but with this weather might be better keeping them on!

Yes how right you were 6 seconds out - thats just plain wrong! Its either (not that you care enough to find out) your clock locally or in your settings for your account you might have a random time zone set.
I was not riding last night - but damned fine to watch the Melyd shirts stay front to middle of bunch... with obligatory sneaking from Dan.
Have two damned FINE pics as far as I looked (burnt them all to CD to bring in and process and promptly picked up wrong disk). D'oh.

I work with Ben Barnes's dad Geoff. Geoff has been quizzing me about bikes for a while now. I asked Alan some time ago if there was a club bike big enough for Ben.
My boss (Tim) is dead keen for Ben to start doing chaingangs on tuesday nights because Tim trains (swims) with Ben on Wednesdays, and Ben gives Tim a hard time
Ah I know Geoff Barnes from my golfing days. Bloody nice bloke as I remember, and a tidy player as well. I think syd knows Geoff well, so I figure you could be right about his lad. Give Geoff my regards, i really use to enjoy playing golf with him.

Ben sounds keen, he trains with Rus' and Johnny Marine. So knows a few of the rabble.
