Bike Wise, Well done to Ben, 30 odd miles for first ride even at my pace is good I think!!!
He said it was 7/10 in terms of toughness!

Damn that was a hot day! To the extent that some muppet ran out of the will to live heading up out of Pentrefoelas - where my legs went (more) wibbly, and my head / neck started pounding. MANY MANY thanks to Janet and Paul who waited, and got me home. The rest of the day was spent on the sofa watching TDF and sipping water - lots. We are set to have a few more days of this - so drink lots children.

Syd - where you turned off - its not flat up there? Did you hurt him and show off your l33t MTB skillz?

He didn't like the hills too much, but did well.
He only started lagging from Cwm.
Good first effort I reckon, I bet he's glad I rode with him and not the slighlty more Saddistic VC'rs :)
