Sounds melodramatic I know, but this news is so sad. Having watched Landis from the top of the Joux Plane, I thought we'd all witnessed something special that day. But it just seems otherwise. The fact is that Landis has never been my favourite rider by a long chalk, however seeing what he did to a class field on stage 17, particularly after his terrible performance on stage 16 gave me a massive new respect for the man. All a bit soon it seems.

And yes well done Ant for beating Syd to the punch on this. And I got first reply as well

he said the testosterone was "absolutely natural and produced by my own organism" and would agree to undergo tests to prove his case.

So there you go he must be telling the truth :)
