What happened to your "definately never going further than 40 miles" philosophy. You broke though that barrier yesterday with ease. Worlds your oyster now, bring on the Wild Wales challenge for Syd I say !

You just posted that to prove that you were in the office at that time! The cheek of it!.
Okay - so despite opting for the flatter if slightly longer route home, I had a really good day out.
Its nice to be lagging when you have people to lag with - as odd as that sounds... and it was just about the right balance, since having got home and suitably chilled for the afternoon, I had that "I am glad I did that" feeling... and that, for me, is what its all about.
While it wasnt as far as it felt there was a fair amount of pace to start with, followed by a fair amount of climbing before tea, and then a fair amount before teleporting back into Ruthin.
Would I be verging on CTC membership if I said out loud that another tea stop would have been nice ;)
Actually it was all in the legs, they were yelling stop get off go home!!!
Ye 40 miles I remember that and still cling to that, s'pose I must be getting better legs, it just doesn't feel like it.
get this 3,200 cals used good job I had my chicken butty etc :)
