Discussion topic do grams matter (weight loss)

Submitted by Alan on Thu, 28/09/2006 - 9:43am.

Last week I was pilloried for losing .2kg it was pointed out its only 200g ,less than a cup of tea. but grams are important on a bike above a certain value say £1800 the £ /G formula comes in to play i.e. if it costs less than £1 to save a gram when upgrading it is good value so therefore it follows 200g of my weight is like £200 in the bank.
This week’s investors are.
Dave 92.8 kg 23.5% An investment of £1200
Alan 88.8kg 18.4% An investment of £700
Mark 89.4kg 23% An investment of £400
Steve 82kg 25% An investment of £1500 over 2 weeks
This week’s big spenders are.
Justin 88.9kg 24.5% splashing out £100
Anthony 87.3kg 24% also splashing out £100

Well - what can I say - short of "its quiet in here" closely followed by "ahhh, about that 200g abuse you took last week...."; sorry Alan.

I would like to think up some sort of 'excuse' for Justin and I - but sadly I am left wanting on that front as well. A whole 100g - heavier - well I can only hope that I / we (if I may be so bold Justin) will do better next week.

I have been doing more hours on the bike, and longer in each of the zones as well, so what gives? I shall put it down to just reward for my mocking last week.

thats the thing your not suppose to be in the 20-40-% of max, it's the 60-80% zones ur after, that's my only tip.
Oh and lay off what ever is your sin!!
I know a statement of the bleeding obvious
