Okay - I hear that the initial poster is looking to not ride now. Who is riding the TLI event tomorrow - show of hands.
I will ride the normal Tuesday if its a quiet affair.
...and wheres the report on the mountain time trial (while the concept of such a thing leaves a bitter taste in my mouth!) - I have heard tales of broken spokes, people stopping the event to help spectators and so on?
Not me I am afraid, I have a ludicrously early flight to Ireland in the morning, and I think trying to function in a meeting on 3 hrs sleep and knackered body is not wise. So I will be out on a regular club ride tonight.
The broken spoke jobbie as well you may know was me. PING, going up the last climb for descending to Cerrig. Rear wheel non drive side spoke sheared straight off at the nipple end, and proceeded to try and wrap itself around everything ! Cost me about 3 mins by the time I had freed it off and twisted it out of the way. It also cost me an awful lot of confidence in my back wheel folding up on me at 45mph. Otherwise a suprisingly fun event. Not the spew fest I thought it would be. To be honest when I thought beforehand of the hillyness of the course I didnt even think 18mph average was on. But when I finished my ave was 19.7mph, However you may be better getting an opinion from someone who went proper fast like Alan or Sion.
Come to think of it where is your report on the RCC 25. Or the result of last weeks Club 9. hmmm. if only I could remember who won it ;)

We will be leaving early as we are riding the Senior section race (over 50's) It would be nice to see a few of the junior members entering the under 50's race
All this road racing is too close to a team game - so count me out - I dont play well with others!
Whats more - all those corners, can you imagine the grief I would cause with my affliction?!
Jason and I were going to tag along to take some pictures, but hes off to Le Mans (sp?) for the duration, lucky devil.
I may still tag along to take a few snaps from the road side, however it would take an outstanding couple of TT's to lift my ego enough to take part.
