Now Syd, remember the mantra, "I don't have to post if it is quiet; one post is enough if I feel the need".

We can get through this ;)

In other news though, when at Aldi, and leaving the one in Prestatyn - check Justin's on the other side of the road.

As it happens I have two

Who the flip would trust their two grand pride and joy to an Aldi bike rack. I ask you !

As it happens I have two sets of digital vernier gauges and a digital bore gauge (no comments please). But not for use on my bike. However I am ashamed to admit I actually did use them to check something on a bike once :P

Ditto, my sentiment about the bike rack. If a pair of proper accurate precision tools costs as much as they do, then I would be concerned about the quality of Aldi ones.
A top set of mitutoyo digital gauges state the accuracy levels in microns and other important critical information.

The best Aldi can do is claim the digital display is "SUPER-BIG" If you really need great big goofy characters on your digital calipers, then you have to ask your self whether you should be measuring such critical components.
Its not confidence inspiring is it. I can imagine what it says on the "SUPER-BIG" digital readout when you try and measure something

it'd be like "45mm and a bit more I think"

By the way if you have any more Aldi bargains, be sure to let Paul R know, as he is a massive fan of Aldi's.

Oh Dear Paul!!!

A super store

Guys, what a super store Aldi is!
I have taken a leaf out of the Lee handbook of shopping at discount stores:

Keep off the middle aisle. This is where they take you suckers in and rip you off. Needless to point out that said rack will be in the middle aisle along with Buffers, tents and various tool kits!

A complete rip off if you ask me, but then again, you did, last Tuesday!

By the way...

Only two VC Melyd riders out on Sunday 72 miles out to Betws y Coed via Eglwysbach the hard way.

...and only one at Thursday's TT... and I did a PB!

I thought the TDF would inspire riding.

See you Tuesday.
