A thought just crossed my mind (well floated in the void between my ears).
With Rasmussen out and Jan and Dave's UN assisted E'tape triumph; if 9 of us where to prove that we where clean riders (this requires more than a shower after each ride it also means we need to keep all our bikes really _really_ clean), filling out welsh cycling’s bilingual 365 day whereabouts form - we may manage to get a wild card entry into next years tour as the only clean team.
Could we really be trusted
Could we really be trusted to Spend 3 weeks in France mid summer, without getting rat-arsed most nights hmmmm, maybe we are not really cut out for the grand tours. I can hear Sean Kellys commentary now
"half way up the Joux-Plane and WHATS THIS !! Its Overson laying down in the flowers with another Team Melyd member for a nap, coz he was pissed up the night before and hes too hot and fed up"
Perhaps we'd be better off in the classics, God knows the roads round here are like Paris-Roubaix cobbles ! (talking specifically of the run down toward Blue Hand corner)

However I think that possibly Dan and Johnny have plenty to offer on the clean cyclist front... no one does cotton bud / dental floss clean bikes like our elite riders - do you think we should offer their services to the UCI / ASO ?
