Broken map page

I am aware that the pages Saints Gym and Club Rides (nodes/15 node/17) are currently showing as broken in IE. While it was tested under Linux/Mac/Windows it was tested with Firefox and Safari, it was not with IE (a bit of a glaring hole). I am aware of this and will sort it when I get the time. This issue involves the Google mapping API and something screwy with Microsoft Internet Explorer non compliance.

Maps work - hoorah.

Apparently the issue was specific to Internet Explorer. It throws a bit of a fit when you have javascript running before the page has finished loading - thank you Microsoft.

The line defer="defer" was added and now it works just like all the other browsers do - Grrrrrr. Sorted now, thanks for waiting.

Yes, the web fairy is the mythical beast that sorts everything that is discussed by management - the 'we should do this, and this, with bells on, with lights and whistles' and before you know it is in a brief or spec., and then the technies go through said with a highlighter pointing out all the bits that are to 'magically happen' - this is the place you will find the web fairy; bits not done, and bits that have happened without anyone non technical getting caught up in the fallout.
