If you log on to your entry page you will see that there is now a letter acknowledging your entry. At the bottom it also requests a copy of a doctors medical certificate which they require to be sent to them.
along with
Undertakers details, and copy of will.

What type of doctor?
I assume that they want a Psychiatric doctor's certificate, to ensure nobody sane enters the event by mistake. Steve Sharpe can provide them for £10 each.
Or....
Doctor Lee will provide them for the price of an Erdinger

I wonder whether a British Cycling Racing Licence will do. Probably not as you dont need a medical to get one.

I should mention that my signature won't be worth anything as I am a mere student, but at least I sort of know the kind of stuff that will happen e.g. your heart will explode, cry so much you drown...

I am also qualified to sign any medical examination forms as well, as I have just whooped my 5 and 7 year old kids at "operation" (I did the funny bone and spare ribs, first time) :)

I have phoned my Dr. and he has informed me that I am simply not fit enough to do La Marmotte so unfortunately I will have to pull out.
He said if I agree to complete at least 20 mins fast walking 3 times per week then he may reconsider my request in 6 months.
I tried to explain that I have no time for walking but he wouldn't listen saying that, according to his records, I am 6 stone overweight and smoke 40 fags per day. He suggests that I consider some diet pills offering these, and nicotine patches, on prescription.
I may have to wing it and use the "Nasty Bancroft" entry instead!
