World track champs in Manchester

Anyone fancy a day out at the World Track champs in Manchester ? Being held 26 -30th March. If anyone does fancy a visit we will have to get some tickets for whatever day you prefer. CHeck the programme of events at the website below :-

I think the Thursday looks good, with the Mens Team pursuit and Mens Sprint being the big events of the day. But I am open to other suggestions.

I can only do the Wednesday and I am happy to drive.

But don't me ruin your plans...

Think you better...

Qualify the statement you are open to other suggestions!...Syd will have you involved in ritual goat molestation before you can say dodgy handshake!

I'm up for it (track champs...not the goat thing!) easy on days

ps Ant has had a petition from the WAGS, anyone out on a chaingang tonight is on restricted rations bedroom-wise till Easter...you've been warned!

????

I am listening you know ;)

...but that doesn't mean that I understand / condone.

Ahhhh 'humour' ;)

Track Champs - sounds like a fun day out - sure, no idea on days as yet though.

Bahhhhhhh :)

Do you mean we need a team for the Thursday, cool so I can practise my dodgy wobble at the top again :)

Womens 500 m time trial

Mens scratch race

In fairness the Wednesday looks the best day after all. I am up for that. If we get there in time for the individual pursuit qualifying rounds at 3:30 pm then we get a break where we can go out and get some scoff somewhere, before getting back to the velodrome for the evenings finals and main events.

Sounds good, lets see a show of hands and we will get some tickets sorted

My hand is up!

Syd...

You're more off track than Steve Sharpe was at Penmachno!

I'm actually a member of the North Wales Goat Protection League....the abuse is shocking and we have you lot under surveilance....don't think the number of goatskin rugs you sell hasn't been noticed!

The only way to get a block

Dan's picture

The only way to get a block of seats together for the track champs is to do a group booking. The best seats are £22.50, you can get a cheaper seat for £15 but then you are positioned around the corner, a home straight (premium seat) is £22.50
If I know exactly how many are coming then I can book the seats. Paul generously offered to drive in his 7 seater, so transport is sorted.

Any news on this one...
