I know Alan is a bit sporadic in his posting frequency, so if I may be so bold as to let you know what went on his behalf.
Alan finished 4th (dont know his time or his speed) However he had a transmission issue with a stuck rear mech, and had to get off the bike take his wheel out, free it off and carry on, costing him about a minute, and one place, so a potential podium spot for the biggun.
Andy, suffering from illness I believe so a DNS, for the muncher.
I did suffer a bit of a mechanical a stone got stuck in the parallelogram on the rear mech jamming me in the 17 sprocket unable to do more than 20 mph (bet that’s not in Chris’s book) looking at my heart rate I lost 1:30 but would have still been nowhere near the winners.
David Crawley Fibrax 105:31
Rob Marsh Ashurst 106:47
Darren White Fibrax 109:23
Me 109:40
David Jones Rhos 109:55

sorry to hear that....Chris Lords got a book on bike maintenance...sure he'd let you borrow it!
