Proper big 50p size flakes..what's going on? any room in Dans garage tonight?
brrrrrr its freezzzing :(
I think thats autumn over now too!!
Bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
!!Wot No Bar!!
Hmmmm.
Riding in was 'entertaining', windfinder says its going to be COLD for my ride home.
Roof leaking here, leaking to amusement this afternoon with building services. Buckets can now bee seen with card signs to give generously, and are actually filling with coppers.
For those about to ride, we salute you.
For those about to head out this evening - are you serious?
*removes toasty gloves from back of his CRT and starts to ponder his ride home.
So CRTs do have a advantage over LCDs!
I'm going out for a slow pootle round the lanes later on this evening once the rush hour traffic has died down. Freezing hail and wet roads are ok, however mixed with motorised morons desperate to shave a few seconds off their commute home, makes going out at 6pm unpleasant.
Caution - Do not under any circumstances block the cooling vents of a CRT computer monitor with clothing, The resultant smoke and flames have been known to curtail careers. Wet items of clothing placed on CRT's have been known to curtail life. This warning can be ignored if the CRT in question is piled up in the corner of the office waiting for the scrap dealer to remove.
Thanks for the heads up.
Thanks Andy.
There is a bunch of real estate on the back of the 21" Radius, but okay okay, its an HT device, and its naught (they where at best damp, not that it matters)... but it seems rude not to do something useful with its space heater effect : /
ANOTHER flat on the ride home today. Half a tree going around with the wheel, no danger of missing that one. Having already written to highways today as a grumpy man - I am stopping to take pics of the new cuttings that have appeared since the front page of the Denbighshire Visitor last week (nice), and the 'surprise' deserted road works signs nestling in a sea of leaves like a metal punji stick. Great.
As for having to ride on the road to dodge the likelihood of a flat / surprise road sign - I foolishly rode in around rush hour this morning to be reminded how its "okay" to wind down your window to shout at a cyclist to "get on the path" as they overtake around a blind corner over double white lines....
*counts to ten.
*breath.
*......aaaaaaaaaand relax.
Grrrrr.
...annoyed of Dyserth.
Disclaimer: I neither condone or promote the behaviour. I am a trained professional, and really should know better, even / especially if it has been ensuring toasty gloves for years now; just don't do it kids.
Respect to Pete Lessiter
The only show last night.
I went spinning instead, couldn't face the coldness.
Actually... been thinking...
There were probably loads out last night, but saw Pete's pants before he saw them!
They are a tad bright.
Big up Pete Lessiter,
Big up Pete Lessiter, clearly a proper cyclist.
Ferret...
Made it too...reckoned there was nobody else there! not sure how they missed each other if Petes pants are that bright!
I couldn't make it as it was mums last night with us before flying back....I made up for it though by a 1.5hr run last night...proper blizzard conditions..great fun...sorry I didn't give you a knock Paul!..whats the chair all about anyway?
What chair?
Don't know what you're talking about
What snow?
I’m glad my pants have made such an impact. Yes I was ready and waiting on Tuesday night someone was there but had gone by the time I had taken my bike off my truck, “Proper Billy no mates”. I’ll be ready and waiting this Friday 2pm with my bright pants on, boy my legs were hurting after last Friday’s ride, I know no pain no gain!
That pic...
looks like a dodgy public toilet...get the Marin pic back quick!...up around your woods last night lots of MTB tracks! you been practicing?
