I think it only fair and right to offer a sincere apology to all those lads and lasses out on the ride this Sunday just gone (22nd Feb). I have in reflection accepted that my attire was highly inappropriate and could be deemed offensive to all riding with me on this day.
Particular apologies go out to an unnamed female rider that day who should not have had to witness such general wrongness.
I can only hope that you accept that this display is not the norm, and will not be repeated.
At the time I had taken the polite comments with a pinch of salt assuming them to be exaggerations however on returning home I offered my long suffering wife the same vista that was presented to my fellow riders, needless to say she was in some state of shock and indeed confirmed that I was, and I quote, "a f*****g disgrace of the highest order". Even my children were brought in to confirm this spectacle was as unsavoury as first thought.
You have my assurance that the said offending article has been taken out of circulation and has been indelibly marked with a big "TTO" (Turbo training only)
It is of course ironic, that most new members join our welcoming and friendly club specifically because of the great crack, perhaps they misunderstood :)

Yes Paul (MATE) the injuries to my body will keep me off my bike for a week or so!(I'll be back) Every cloud and all that. I think it's time you went on a long down hill club MTB ride (MATE) ;-)
