Please follow the Flikr link at the bottom of the page to access the VC Melyd Flikr photo site to see some photos I took at the Denbigh RR. OK OK I know I am no Graham Watson but soem are ok.You will probably need to log into Flikr to see them, but its easy to set up an account

Application of 'clue'
Bravo Dan - or should I call you Hugh Jengin in future ;)
Here is a more specific link to the VC Melyd Denbigh Road Race pictures.
If you have a flickr (they are free unless you want to use it LOTS) account and have images to add - then apply to join the group - make clear what / who you are - and be sure to mention it to me, or post it back here.
Oh.
It has been bought to my attention that this only works for those with Flickr accounts at the moment - which - not that I am saying you are all Trologan-dytes, however, I doubt that is many (show of hands please?). I will see what I can do.
Thanks Dan!
Thanks for the photos Dan, especially my upside down bottle cage! What an experience - go on a ride with 60 other blokes and a bird, get dropped after 6 miles, do 6 laps of time trial practice on my own. Note to self - improve, go faster, do more miles, lose more weight and lose 20 years. Bring on the next one!
Chairman...
You're fired!...............out of the bunch!
.
*chortle*
Didn't they wait for you up at the roundabout - the b&%$^rds!
RR
How did everybody else get on then?
I had a smashing time!!!!!!
I got to within a few hundred yards of the finish line before hitting a pot hole and hitting the deck taking a few riders with me I was absolutely gutted!!!!Still am, but I really really enjoyed it and I'm already looking for next one to do.
Here's a great report...
Here's a great report from Rhos. Shame he got your name Mike! Good job he didn't get mine! http://www.rhoscycling.com/rhos_phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=855
talking about naming and
talking about naming and shaming might have to change my name for next race
Glad you have put it behind
Glad you have put it behind you and are keen for next race, It'd be a shame if it had put you off, you looked comfortable and riding well within yourself when I saw you in the bunch, no mean feat for a first BC race within a pretty swift group. Easy done toward the end of a race to catch a wheel or miss a pothole. Lets face it I rode into a stone wheel last week on a club ride just taking a drink !!!!
We'll be getting a reputation....
Garry knobbled a few lads in the last one didn't he?....have to get a Kamikaze spray job on your lid!
Another good report
Al "The Power" gets a good mention here...http://www.britishcycling.org.uk/web/site/BC/roa/EventReports2009/20090412_maurice_rr.asp
