Gran Fondo Cymru 2009 Cancelled

2009 Gran Fondo Cymru : EVENT CANCELLED "On behalf of Jonnie Woodall's widow, it with sadness and regret that we have to announce that the Gran Fondo Cymru Cyclo Sportive, which was due to take place on 24th May 09, has had to be cancelled. When we heard about Jonnie's tragic death a few weeks ago, it was hoped that we would be able to take over promotion of the GFC from Jonnie but it has become clear that this will not be possible, since a large part of Jonnie's event promotion budget will remain in probate as part of his Estate, and with the timing of the funeral, there is just too much to do in such a short space of time for his family. Plans are well developed for an Event Team, made up of member's of Jonnie's Club and Familiy, to take over promotion of this event for 2010 onwards.
