All is quiet on here, so much so I am considering taking this off my home page tabs. Anything happening this weekend while some people do the mountain time trial. anyone fancy a longer excursion?

I'm away with family
So can't make it, its deathly quiet on here for entertainments sake I'll post and email to Dan about poor preparation!..........and its effects....... Hmmm I made a liddle mistake!...with ongoing repercussions :-( ....trainers broken in ...check energy gels ok...check BRAND NEW UNWORN SHORTS DON'T CHAFE.....bugger started to hurt at the 1 mile mark....12 miles of purgatory ended with blood stained socks...nice, 7 miles of it were into a block headwind, last 3 miles torrential rain was on target for a 1.44 but slipped back to 1.49 over last 3 miles, bit gutted as did 1.47 previously but conditions that day were perfect! I now have 2 3inch square raw, weeping patches on my inner thighs..nessecitating a new approach to office dressing...mostly I'll be wearing a robe to allow air to nether regions! Funniest bit for Jo (2.01 for her) was me applying TCP Spray on plaster..."a brief warming may be experienced on first applying"..AAAGGHH! it was like putting acid in my eyes....screamed like a girl and cried...Jo's tears were of laughter! No I'm not out tonight!
Inspirational leader.
Just read an inspirational story about you in the local paper Paul, I always thought you where a natrually fit athlete. Well done, not sure you will get away with not sporting any club kit in the publicity shot though :)
I am away too, camping on the

Thanks Gary
Me? Naturally Fit? Not a chance, I'm, at best, a couch potato in disguise. As for Sunday, this is MY plan: Get to Saints for 8.30, head off to the mountains somewhere to cheer on the brave souls doing the Rhyl mountain TT. Then a nice run to Llangollen, World's End, Wrexham, Chester and home. And by the sound of it - on my own!
marshalling
I'll be marshalling on the sharp corner at Llanfihangel, a good specators spot with the potential to see some specatular crashes. If you pass that way I'll be glad to see a friendly face.
