The Liddle clan has expressed an interest in coming down to Kington and camping. However as "lightweight" campers I thought I may hunt out a local campsite with some facilities, as opposed to the official free camping. Dunno if this interests anyone else.

Yes Dan I'm up for that, make sure my little titch can come :-) If you do find a site we will go on the Friday night.

Whats everyone doing
Just wondered what everyones doing for the weekend of the marin ride? We are planning to head down on the Saturday and just stay at the free campsite, are others camping elsewhere/going Friday?

We are planning to go down on Friday Evening and making a weekend of it with "All Liddles Great & Small" . We are planning to stay at the Fleece Meadow site in Kington Town, which is a camping site which is a bit more kid/Mrs friendly :)

Well....
For us in the peasant campsite I was planning a traditional scum bag dinner of Monster Munch with Haribo's for after! The posh campsite sounds far too posh, bet they have water taps and everything! Well we will be fine in the field and may come and visit you if we can get past security and remember to pack a dinner suit. Justin are still cooking up a Thai Green curry? Dya want me to rustle something up, a stew or curry or something? Let me know....I worry about my feed!!!! Are we cooking for all? Chris Lord is going Saturday too as far as I remember and staying in the free site, thunk Russ is going is doing the same too. Thankfully also you will be glad to know Jack is visiting family!!

By the sound of it I might even come myself! Champagne, Truffles and a smoking jacket? Pete's fine camping bed? what more could I ask for? and he's bringing a dog!

the campsite operates a strict no pikey, buying bikes on the cheap, cycle to work scheme policy!...worse than shopping in Lidl I reckon!
