MTB Soft Shell tops - who's interested?

I got the following from Jeff - anyone interested in getting one of these and helping get the price down - if so give me a call or drop me a mail:

In March edition of What Mountain Bike they did a product Test on Soft Shell Windproof tops for MTB ing and the Gore Phantom Plus N2S came out top with a score of 10 for performance and 9 for value. They retail at £90, but we have negotiated with The Cotswold Shop at Betws y Coed that if we can get a min order of 8 tops, they will do them for £72 each, a saving of £18 ! We have already have 4 definites, so wondered if you would post the offer on the VC Melyd Website to see if there are any more takers? If we can't get 8 orders then they will do them at £76 plus a small delivery charge.

The phantom has been their favourite for a number of years now and nothing has threatened it as yet. The relatively thin N2S fabric is totally windproof - and usefully - wet resistant, but lightweight and thin enough to wear most year round. Thin material and windstopper back panel sucks your sweat out into the atmosphere very quickly too, which helps regulate body temperature. Removable sleeves (with short sleeves underneath) let you regulate body heat even further and can be use as a gillet in summer. Easy stretch in the fabric, backs up an already accurate close fit, with a tall collar and lightly elasticated hem, plus there's a single zipped pocket at the back and full length zip to the front.

Verdict: The Gore Phantom Plus N2S is an excellent , warm enough but not too hot weather beating weather jacket. That's before you consider the climatic versatility and therefore value the removable sleeves add too.
