Well who'd have thought it, Alan had to pack due to collision with an animal, well an insect, to be precise - hit the back of his throat??!! What I want to know is why did he have his mouth open in the first place? Especially in the middle of summer! And then there was Ankles Mike, word on the streets of Denbigh is that after posting a first lap time of sub 22 minutes he sinply got of his bike, mutterred something about not being arsed and went home. Why am I telling you all this? Well just so I can say that as a result of these 2 DNF's it was left to your truly to set a new course record! Honest! For a minute or two anyway, until it was set again by Gary Houlsten. Well done mate, a really hard 3 laps. I think I could've walked up the wall quicker the third time. Thanks to Andy Malcolm and Ashley for their fabulous preparation and time keeping.

Slack Jawed Faggotts....

Well done Gary...Al thought you were coming over to the darkside next year?
Well done Paul
For being VC Melyds premier Time Triallist for 90 seconds. They actually say you are only as good as your last result, so on that basis that means I am way better at Time Trialling than Alan or Mike, because I didnt DNF my last one in 2003 :) Job done ! Lets hear no more about it.
Alan riding with his mouth wide open, brings to mind some ghastly image of a cheap blow up doll
(I wouldnt know personally, but Justin tells me you can buy them quite inexpensively from some specialist shops in Rhyl)
I have even changed my little picture to pay homage to the great man
what were times???
