OK, it starts on Saturday and I'll organise the sweep. Let me know who is in at a fiver each and I will draw lots on the top contenders, ie 10 entrants = the 10 best riders (Ladbrooks). Let me know if you're in and also, for fun, your tip for the race.

I am definately in. Is there a penalty payment if your rider gets caught doping :) That might spice it up a bit !

Penalty for doping is having do drink 6 pints of Erdinger at Saints after the Tuesday ride following the allegation - then ride home! Or can you think of something worse?.... Probably!

Sounds spot on, unless of course its Gwyn or Gerallt, then it would be legally wrong, and we could perhaps make a special ruling to make it 6 pints of sunny delight for them, which in fairness would probably be worse anyway.
By the way Basso this year for the GC would be my outside bet. Got to be different to everyone else I reckon who will say Contador

It's Alberto for me, he's always been a favourite of mine. However, I'd love Wiggo to beat him or perhaps the Schleck Bros. But definitely not Basso or Vino, they may be clean now but a lifetime ban should be given to anyone found cheating. Period.

I think Basso's a good shout Mike.
He doesnt seem to ride on his ego, and emotion like Contador.
Contador is the most likely to win a stage by 10 mins on a climb, but also the most likely to have one really really bad day, I reckon.
I wonder if anyone is really going to stick their neck out and say Armstrong, now that really would be a fairytale, cant see it myself, but you just never know.................stranger things have happened !

Why rule out the guy who came 3rd last year?...Lance will podium I reckon...wiggos power is up and weight down so could feature...will be better marked than last year though....looking forwards to it now!

He smiles when he climbs! never mind a sweep i reckon all club members chip in and sponsor paul & alan to run alongside the riders on 1 of the mountain stages wearing a pair of speedos & club shirts and we give the money to a childrens cancer charity, they cant say no to that can they, we get to see it on eurosport, the charity gets some dosh!
