2008 / 2009 Membership is now due. The subs have remained the same as 2007 / 2008 at £15 for Senior membership. I will be sending out the membership forms via Email where appropriate this year, even if you have filled one out last year or in previous years we would prefer if you could fill one of the 08 forms out, as it has had to change a fair bit.

I have had the confirmed date and venue for this years club dinner and prizegiving.
The venue is the Faenol Fawr Hotel and the event will be held on Saturday 1st December 2007.
Tickets should be aroung the £20 mark.
I will confirm price and time as soon as I know for definate.
As everyone who has been before can remember, our social events are always a great success so we hope to repeat that again this year.
As per normal the annual dinner is very much a WAG friendly occassion, so bring your spouse, or indeed someone elses, if thats your thing ;)

As was mentioned in an earlier article. The 2007 membership is now due. I will be sending out the forms in the post within a couple of days. However if you wish to send your membership subs in straight away, then the form is available as a download here. You will find the rates and where to send them at the bottom of the form.

As usual we are having our post Xmas fun-ride on the 27th December. Meeting at the club at 1pm. In past years we have cycled an easy route at a "very" social pace (it is by no means a training ride) it is purely for fun and merriment. We intend to get a bite to eat en-route and we usually stop for a festive "sherry" whilst out. And as usual we intend to finish the day off with an Indian and a few beers in Prestatyn.

As time is catching up on us, we urgently need confirmed numbers for our annual Christmas do at the Faenol. We have a really solid number of people in semi commited state, but we are getting to the point that we have to let Steve know numbers for sure. Returning from France this week Andy - welcome back, Time Trials continuing uninterupted on Thursday - weather allowing.

Two VC Melyd riders seen completing an event in good weather and posted in the gallery. Needless to say this was not a local occurence, and the backdrop was rumoured to be the Dolomites; more news on this, their journey, and the event when they are recovered and returned.

In celebration / thanks for all the support and on our completion of the Nice Iron Man event Rus and I are having a BBQ this Friday 30th June from 1830 at my place in Rhuddlan all VC Melyd welcome. If you have any questions on where I am or the like drop one of the officials an email. Rather than running the risk of running dry - can you all bring a bottle or so! Chris.

If any remaining members have their 2006 subs to pay, It would handy to have as many in by the end of the month or just after.
